Since 1997, the BEC has offered Niagara’s students and teachers with a guest speakers’ service. Whether you’re looking for a handful of speakers for a career fair or looking for someone specific, we have a long list of community volunteers who are eager to come to your school and share their time and expertise. Our database includes speakers from local business, community organizations and agencies, government and many more!

So, WHAT IS THE SPEAKER SPOT SERVICE?

The Speaker Spot service is available to all secondary and elementary schools in the Niagara Region. Speaker Spot provides teachers and students with anonymous profiles of more than 300 community volunteers who are willing to share their experience and knowledge to a classroom of students.
